I strongly Believe in circumcision, My son is circumcised and if I have anymore sons they will be to.

The reason I believe in it because it’s cleaner, healthier and I believe in it for cosmetic reasons, in society a circumcised penis is “Normal” and I believe that he would get made fun of my peers at school and his future friends.

I believe it’s cleaner because the foreskin collects bacteria if not properly cleaned and you can get an Infection SO severe you have to be circumcised at say 12 I believe it would hurt more then. I know newborns feel some pain and that upset me to know my son felt pain but I looked at it this way a Possible life time of pain or a few days of soreness I chose what I thought was best and that’s My Opinion on it I don’t send mothers hate who Disagree on it I don’t Judge then so don’t judge me.

Not gonna judge you, but will disagree.

Circumcision rates have been falling for decades. it’s about 50/50 now, so circumcised is no longer “normal”. Besides, is possible future bullying really enough a reason to alter your child’s body cosmetically? That strikes me as a pretty dysfunctional way of dealing with bullying as an issue. 

As far as cleanliness, here is the thing. Bodies get dirty. Genitals get dirty in particular. Yes, vulvas get dirty too. I remember reading somewhere that the mouth has more bacteria than the anus. There’s also a common species of mites living in the hair follicles of your frakking eyelashes! I mean like, that’s why we have hygiene, rather than simply cutting off our dirtiest bits.

Ultimately tho, the biggest problem with circumcision is that it affects adult sexuality and it affects it negatively. It removes a whole bunch of nerve endings, various specialized structures, and it diminishes sensation—potentially for both partners. Also, very few people have to—or want to—get a circumcision at a later age.
